SOUTH THOMASTON — A state representative has asked the Attorney General’s Office to review a $475,000 grant of taxpayer money being used to help a group of fishermen acquire a parcel that is being sold for nearly eight times the assessed value.State Rep. Edward Mazurek, D-Rockland, sent the letter to Attorney General Steven Rowe two weeks ago. In his request, he said he was doing it at the request of a constituent, whom he did not name.
