A recurring nightmare in politics is to have a candidate’s elaborately timed announcement submerged by a flood, disappear in the whiteout of a snowstorm, or get blown away by a storm.In the case of Pierce County Executive John Ladenburg, however, a low profile on the radar screen is of his own making.
Ladenburg, a Democrat, picked the day after “Super Duper Tuesday” to announce that he wants to be state attorney general. He is challenging politically astute incumbent Republican incumbent Rob McKenna.
