The New York state Attorney General is suing one company and will subpoena 16 others in an investigation of reimbursement rates charged by health insurers.The lawsuit will be filed against Ingenix Inc., part of Minnesota-based UnitedHealth Group. Ingenix is described as the nation’s largest provider of health-care billing information. Others under scruitny by Attorney General Andrew Cuomo include Aetna Inc. (NYSE AET), and Cigna Corp. (NYSE: CI), and Empire BlueCross BlueShield (NYSE: WLP).
