HELENA – John Parker, a Democratic leader in the state House of Representatives and deputy Cascade County attorney from Great Falls, formally entered the race for attorney general Tuesday.
Parker, a lawmaker since 2003, filed his election paperwork Tuesday and joins a crowded race for the state’s top law enforcement officer.
Democrats Steve Bullock, a Helena attorney, and Sen. Mike Wheat, a state lawmaker and lawyer from Bozeman, have also formally filed. The three will face off in a primary election this June.
