Good corporate behavior by Lexmark International on this one. No cover up, just protecting their folks.
It wasn’t a law that called for Lexmark International to tell its employees last week that personal data including their Social Security numbers and dates of birth had been inadvertently disclosed.Lexmark did it on its own for its employees in Kentucky, which remains one of a small number of states without a data-breach disclosure law on the books.
