ALBANY — Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has launched a statewide probe of school districts to see if pension benefits were wrongly given to lawyers and other professionals for part-time work.The investigation into the practice — known as pension double-dipping — was announced Wednesday and grew out of the burgeoning scandal in which three Long Island lawyers were listed as full-time employees of 11 school districts.
