SPRINGFIELD — A private school that Gov. Blagojevich said mistakenly got a $1 million government grant “has not fully complied” with terms of its deal and could face a bid to recover that money in two weeks, the state has told school officials.
The Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity made that position known to Loop Lab School director Elmira Mayes on Monday, the day the Chicago Sun-Times first broke a story about the controversial school grant.
