“It's
not just about winning the Statehouse… It's more about making
friends” in Iowa, which begins the presidential nomination process with
party caucuses in January 2008.
It’s cliché, but you can’t move across Iowa without
bumping, tripping, or driving over a presidential candidate. There are
probably twice as many candidates of hopeful presidential timber making their
way around Iowa as there were this time in 2002.
