A propane supply company may resolve a class action lawsuit filed against it for price-gouging customers this winter, officials said.A Crawford County gas customer sued Inergy Propane of Kansas City, Mo., last month for charging at least $1 above the state’s average retail propane price of $2.45 in January. Now the company will try to settle the dispute with plaintiff Lawrence Friedman, who challenged their pricing policy under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act.
