AUSTIN (AP) – A new law gives Texas high schools freedom to teach elective Bible courses. But the state’s top education official is unclear about what obligations schools are under to offer students those classes in the first place.
Texas Education Commissioner Robert Scott is turning to Attorney General Greg Abbott for an answer.
