Instead, agents from the state Attorney General’s Office got help from Mercyhurst College students to find some of the evidence they needed to charge 29 people in connection with the suspected meth ring.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett said investigators believe brothers Robert and James Frey operated the meth labs from their neighboring homes at 13333 and 13335 Tracy Road, respectively, in Albion. Corbett said the brothers relied on “pill shoppers” to supply them with boxes of cold tablets containing pseudoephedrine, a main ingredient in manufacturing meth.
