Once a promising Missouri State Senate candidate, Webster Groves Democrat Kevin Gunn has pulled the plug on his well-funded campaign to accept Gov. Matt Blunt’s appointment to the Public Service Commission (PSC).
The 15th Senate District seat will be vacated this year, as Senate President Pro Tem Michael Gibbons, R-Kirkwood, leaves office as a result of term limits. Gibbons is running for Missouri Attorney General.
The 15th District includes the Webster-Kirkwood area, in addition to parts of Fenton, Marlborough, Grantwood Village, Affton and Crestwood.
