Gibbons primary strategy – raise it and hold it, raise it and hold it, raise it and hope for one bloody battle on the Democrat side between Chris Koster (He’ll tumble for ya!), Jeff Harris (Boy, can he sing?), and Margaret Donnelly (Bless her for trying) that ends on primary day – August 5th – with the winner broke, battered, and beat.
Senate President Pro Tem Michael Gibbons, R-Kirkwood, raised $158,247 for his candidacy for attorney general.Gibbons – who is the only Republican running against four Democratic candidates – now has $440,321.26 on hand after spending $105,412.97.That total puts Gibbons slighty behind state Rep. Jeff Harris’ quarter. The Columbia Democratic representative raised about $160,000 this quarter and has about $460,000 of cash on hand.Sen. Chris Koster, D-Harrisonville, and state Rep. Margaret Donnelly, D-Richmond Heights are the lone hold outs.
