Following up on something we brought you from last October. Ohio’s esteemed Democrat party leadership seem to be hiding on this one. The Chairman of the Ohio Democrat Party, State Representative Chris Redfern, was completely inaccessible to reporters seeking a comment, or a statement repudiating lying by public officials, on this matter. Can you blame him?
After trying to throw his son under the bus to save his political career, the Ohio democrat admits the topless photo, shown in a presentation to a classroom, was really his.
Another chapter of Ohio Democrats Gone Wild:
After first blaming his teenage son for an embarrassing incident involving a nude photo shown to a high-school class, Rep. Matthew H. Barrett apparently admitted to Democratic leaders last night that not only were the pictures his, but he knew the woman in that photo and the women in other such photos.
Barrett, a freshman Democrat from Amherst, agreed to resign his seat late last night at the request of House Minority Leader Joyce Beatty, D-Columbus, who had strongly defended him after the incident became public in October.
“I was shocked and appalled because we had all embraced him because the issue involved his son,” Beatty said.
[…] He’s right, Ohio Democrat’s don’t want this guy on the ballot come November – it would totally skew their chances of picking up any seats in the Republican controlled legislature. Of course, if they were really concerned about this – they would’ve taken these steps much sooner, and shown more moral outrage over other matters brought to the voters attention by Democrats – like the Democrat State Representative who showed porn to young students.
