Jessamine County Attorney Brian Goettl, a Republican, is considering a run for the Kentucky attorney general office in the 2007 election.
And then, over at Pol Watchers they tell us that “Timothy R. Coleman, Commonwealth's Attorney in west-central Kentucky, says he'll be seeking the Republican nomination for attorney general.”
Finally, the Louisville Courier Journal is reporting the Democrat AG Greg Stumbo is looking to get an opinion thrown out that would preclude him from running for Governor against incumbent, and Stumbo investigatory target, Republican Ernie Fletcher.
Expect more movement like this in the coming weeks.
