Ohio GOP to Meet Friday Over AG Candidate

Who will it be?  If the Democrat nominee’s claim to fame is having been on Jeopardy! Can Republicans pull somebody from Family Feud?  From Dispatch Politics:

Jason Mauk, executive director of the party, said the meeting was moved to 10 a.m. Friday because of requests from members of the committee, not because of problems finding candidates.

The job was vacated May 14 by scandal-plagued Democrat Marc Dann.

The GOP state central committee will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday to select an attorney general nominee to run in the Nov. 4 election.

So far, Delaware County Prosecutor David Yost is the only GOP candidate to publicly express an interest.
