PA: Analyst – Partisanship Charges Won’t Stick Against AG Corbett

A prominent Pennsylvania political analyst thinks allegations of partisanship won’t likely stick against Attorney General Tom Corbett (center in file photo above) following last week’s stunning grand jury presentments involving the House Democratic caucus.

The conventional wisdom in Harrisburg was that as he probed the use taxpayer resources for political efforts, AG Tom Corbett, a Republican, would have to charge some folks with R’s by their name in order to avoid allegations of political prosecution.

But Franklin and Marshall College professor and political analyst Terry Madonna (right) believes that will be blunted by what he calls “breathtaking” charges announced last week:
