Oh yes indeed America, John Morganelli has officially jumped the shark. We fully expect the manifesto writing D.A. from PA to draw a direct linkage between incumbent A.G. Tom Corbett and holiday traffic tie ups at Breezewood (if you’ve been there, you know what we’re talking about). From the Pennsyltucky Politics Blog:
When we last heard from Morganelli, he was accusing incumbent Attorney General Tom Corbett of selectively investigating state House Democrats for allegedly handing out taxpayer-funded bonuses for doing campaign work. It’s amazing what 12 indictments can do because in no short time Morganelli appears to have dropped that issue.
His new pet peeve with Corbett: Crap. Literally. Let’s just say it rhymes with “hit.”
“We are not merely talking about human waste,” says Morganelli in a mere 838-word message that he apparently plans to deliver today in Lancaster and again at a press conference at Foundry Park, Philadelphia & Codorus Creek, York, at 2;30 p.m.
“While the term ‘sludge’ has often been equated to only human waste, ‘biosolids’ is wastewater treated by municipal sewage systems and in addition to human waste, can include toxic metals, pathogens, mortuary waste and hazardous hospital waste as well as hundreds of other chemicals,” he tells us. In fact, “Anything flushed down a drain in home, factory or hospital ends up as a biosolid and there have been documented ill effects on people.”
Now that we’re all working from the same crappy definition, Morganelli is taking issue with Corbett’s enforcement of the Agricultural, Communities and Rural Environment Act, known as ACRE, by going to war with rural Pennsylvania at the behest of corporate evildoers who would spread their crap all over farmland.
