John Kroger should quit while he’s ahead. Then maybe Leuenberger will switch parties. Sound far fetched? From OregonLive.com:
Lake Oswego attorney James Leuenberger announced Friday that he is a candidate for Oregon Attorney General.
Leuenberger, 51, was nominated by the Constitution Party. He’ll face Democrat John Kroger in the November election.
In a statement released Friday, Leuenberger said his campaign will focus on problems within Oregon’s Circuit Courts. He also said he’ll speak to the need to end public financing of abortion and will encourage Oregonians to be armed as a way to combat crime.
