This is not a long article to read – and you should take a minute to read it and see the part where the Dem AG candidate says that he’s in favor of the old way of doing things in the Ohio AG’s office. While the Republican A.G. candidate Mike Crites brings credible credentials as a tough prosecutor of corruption, and a message of reform, the Democrat A.G. candidate brings credentials that are perfect for a career politician, but are wrong for the job of cleaning up the disgraced office of attorney general. The Democrat’s message is simple – the old ways have worked fine, so why change? Clearly he hasn’t been paying attention to what’s happened in his state since Marc Dann was sworn into office. From the Dayton Daily News:
Republican attorney general candidate Mike Crites (CRIGHTS) says he wants three employees dedicated to ongoing investigations involving possible illegal activities in the office he seeks.
Investigators are looking into whether there were improprieties during the tenure of Marc Dann, who resigned in May amid a sexual harassment scandal in the office.
Crites says creating the three-member committee would avoid duplicating work and ensure the state cooperates with law enforcement agencies.
