Today is the day we find out which Democrat Attorney General Candidate will take on Republican Mike Gibbons. Who will it be? Will Margaret Donnelly jump in front? Can Representative Jeff Harris squeak By? Or will Chris Koster weather the attacks from all sides (even the ex-wife), and come out on top? If turnout is heavy (as the News-Leader predicts)… Who does it help?
Stay tuned…
From KSPR.com:
Monday, the two candidates spent the last day of primary campaigning stopping in several cities.
Their close race tops the Republican primary ballot. Attorney General Jay Nixon is expected to claim the Democratic gubernatorial nomination in a lightly contested primary.
For voters choosing a Democratic ballot, the most interesting race may be for attorney general.
Rep. Margaret Donnelly, Rep. Jeff Harris and Sen. Chris Koster are facing off for a chance to face Republican Sen. Mike Gibbons in November.
It doesn’t matter who wins the Dem nod today. Mike Gibbons has had the positive name i.d. and fundraising upper hand these last few months that will get him across the finish line first in November!!!
This should be a good match-up today, but I feel like it’s Rep. Harris’s race to lose. Should be interesting to see who survives this round.
Of course, I am expecting Sen. Gibbons to clean house in November.
It’s koster. Turnout will solid which will drown out the whiners supporting the underfunded others.
