From The Olympian:
OLYMPIA — The National Federation of Independent Business’ state political action committee has endorsed Republican attorney general Rob McKenna for a second four-year term.
A poll of the conservative, small-business advocacy group’s members last month showed 88 percent favored McKenna. Democrat John Ladenburg drew 2 percent support, NFIB state director Troy Nichols said in a news release. Nichols said NFIB doesn’t usually endorse down-ballot races below governor, but “the increasingly hostile composition of the state Legislature” is likely to continue next year, making support for such candidates more important.
He also cited McKenna’s work to help small businesses fight identity theft and his support for limits on tort claims and property-tax limits.
