From the Edmond Sun:
Oklahoma Republicans will elect two state senators in Tuesday’s primary runoff elections in what they view as a step toward taking control of the 48-member chamber for the first time.
It’s a meager runoff ballot, and voters in most counties will have no reason to go to the polls.
There are five legislative runoffs, including key GOP Senate battles to replace term-limited Republican Sens. James Williamson of Tulsa and Kathleen Wilcoxson of south Oklahoma City.
The winners of those races will be elected since no Democrats filed in the Republican-leaning districts.
