From Kansascity.com:
Rebuffed by the Missouri Supreme Court, losing Democratic attorney general candidate Margaret Donnelly turned Tuesday to a trial court in her quest for a review of uncounted ballots.
Donnelly lost Missouri’s four-way Aug. 5 Democratic primary to Chris Koster by 780 votes out of the more than 346,000 cast.
She already has requested a re-count through the secretary of state’s office. But Donnelly says that re-count won’t include ballots rejected by local election authorities.
On Monday, she filed suit in the Missouri Supreme Court against 26 local election jurisdictions seeking a review of absentee and provisional ballots that she contends were incorrectly rejected.
