Ohio Democrats and their “Ridiculous Strategy”

Who’s the real head of the Democrat Party in Ohio – is it Chris Redfern, or is it Herve Villechaize?  Because it seems like they’re really existing in a fantasy world.  From Lancaster Eagle Gazette:

Democrats are focusing on middle-class concerns as they make their strongest push in years to get a majority in the Ohio House of Representatives, which they haven’t controlled since 1994.

Needing to pick up four seats on Nov. 4 to gain the majority in the 99-member House, Democrats in Ohio are lashing out against Republicans just as their counterparts are doing on a national level. They are trying to tie incumbent Republicans to everything from high gas prices to the rising costs of health care.

“They (Republicans) are happy to fund their own special interest projects but they rarely step forward for the middle class,” Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern said Monday. “They have idly watched while thousands upon thousands of jobs have left Ohio.”

Ohio Republican Party Deputy Chairman Kevin DeWine called the strategy ridiculous.
“They’re out of touch with their own governor, they’re out of touch with their presidential candidate and they’re out of touch with the people of the great state of Ohio,” he said.
