This sounds like nothing less than partisan whining. Or crying maybe? From KnoxNews:
In two key East Tennessee legislative races, Republicans are using an “issues sheet” to contrast candidate differences in a few phrases, prompting Democrats to charge they are distorting voting records and deliberately misleading voters.
“This is garbage,” said Rep. Nathan Vaughn of Kingsport, one of the targeted Democrats. “They are playing on people’s fears and their lack of understanding of the legislative process.”
