Indiana House Republicans announced a 2009 agenda Thursday that includes making property tax caps permanent, tax incentives for businesses that invest in alternative energy sources and a new college scholarship program.

“We think these things are important to Hoosiers today, and most of it revolves around their own pocketbooks,” said House Minority Leader Brian Bosma, R-Indianapolis. “That is what we are focusing on, that’s what our candidates are talking about, and that’s what you’re going to hear about in the next 4 1/2 weeks.”
