From Dispatch Politics:
With Wall Street’s roller-coaster ride as the backdrop, two candidates for Ohio attorney general spent much of their first debate yesterday drawing contrasts between their economic experiences and platforms.
Democrat Richard Cordray said his four years as Franklin County treasurer and two years as state treasurer give him the experience to police Wall Street and look out for Ohio’s interests.
Republican Mike Crites, a former federal prosecutor, said only he has prosecuted financial criminals. He also cautioned that the attorney general could sour the state’s business climate by filing frivolous lawsuits.
