From PennLive:
Michael Manzo, the former chief of staff to House Majority Leader H. William DeWeese, is testifying before a statewide investigating grand jury in Harrisburg this morning.
Manzo, 39, who was fired from his Capitol job last November as Attorney General Tom Corbett’s sweeping probe of legislative operations intensified against House Democrats, agreed to a plea deal with investigators last week in return for future cooperation.
As DeWeese’s top aide for seven years, he would be uniquely qualified to speak about virtually all aspects of caucus operations.
