From Post-Tribune:
The two candidates for Indiana Attorney General traded barbs on the East Chicago voter fraud case and the state’s outsourcing of legal work in their debate at the Purdue University Calumet campus on Tuesday.
Democratic candidate Linda Pence and Republican candidate Greg Zoeller asserted that their respective experiences made them the most qualified for the state’s No. 2 spot.
Zoeller, who has served as the deputy attorney general under Steve Carter for 8 years, said he understands that the office’s statutory role is not that of a prosecutor.
