Zoeller is Carter’s second-in-command. Pence is a prominent Indianapolis trial lawyer who prosecuted federal cases for nine years with the Justice Department.
The race for the state’s second highest office has been a hot one as the candidates have traded barbs with each other over a number of issues.
They discussed the role of the office when it comes to prosecuting convicted child molesters, possible conflict of interests, smoking bans and addressing voter fraud.
