From The Mercury:
The campaigns of Attorney General Tom Corbett and his Democratic challenger, John Morganelli, spent more than $1 million each on TV time and other media services in the past five weeks, according to campaign finance reports due Friday.
The reports, the last before the Nov. 4 election, also showed Montgomery County venture capitalist Rob McCord, the Democratic nominee for state treasurer, added $1.4 million to his war chest to push the total raised in his first bid for elective office to more than $5.6 million — much more than any other candidate for statewide office this year.
