From the MontanaNewsStation.com:
Following Tuesday’s election, it appears that Republicans are on their way to majorities in both the Montana Senate and Montana House.
Republicans have a four seat edge in the Senate, while in the House, if the unofficial returns stand, they’ll lead 51-49.
Democrats, meanwhile, retain firm control of the executive branch of government, with Governor Brian Schweitzer decisively winning a second term.
Democrats will also hold down the offices of Attorney General, State Auditor, Superintendent of Public Instruction, and Secretary of State.
