From Tulsa World:
The Senate Republican Caucus on Thursday unanimously picked Sen. Glenn Coffee to be the next leader of the state Senate.
The Oklahoma City Republican will succeed Senate President Pro Tem Mike Morgan, D-Stillwater, who could not seek re-election because of term limits.
Coffee is the first Republican in state history to assume the Senate’s top leadership post.
