Yesterday Robertson released replies from Conway’s office. The first, dated Oct. 23, told Robertson he was seeking “documents of a preliminary nature” that could not be disclosed. The second, dated Nov. 5, told Robertson the records he sought could not be released because they “relate to an open investigation.”
Robertson complained in a statement he released yesterday that it was only after the election that Conway “finally confirmed” that Pendleton’s former employment with Murray State was under investigation.
Allison Martin, a spokeswoman for Conway’s office, said the election had nothing to do with the responses to Robertson.
