At the same time, child pornography laws are getting tougher.
“Dealing with sex predators is probably one of the most difficult cases any prosecutor handles,” says U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Sullivan. “Simply viewing it was not a crime but now it’s a federal offense.”
In October, a new federal law made it illegal to simply look at child pornography online – let alone download it.
