When Charles Foti's actions in response to tragic deaths at Memorial Medical Center went national, we heard from folks who had seen Foti's interview on 60 Minutes, the one where he spoke about the, paraphrasing Foti here now, lethal cocktail of Versed and morphine that was administered to patients there – who had a background in nursing who expressed outrage that the Democrat Attorney General would characterize that mixture as lethal – a tool of homicide. They said, and it's finally made public here, that combination of drugs is used widely to “…to give comfort, either during hospital procedures or at the end of life.”
This chapter of Foti's career is almost closed…almost.
