Vowing to be a bridge between citizens and elected officials, Eric Johnson has formally launched his bid for lieutenant governor in 2010.
For months, the state senator from Savannah has been gearing up to seek the job fellow Republican Casey Cagle is leaving to run for governor.
Johnson is giving up Senate leadership posts – most notably that of president pro tem – to focus on 2010.
