This story is growing.  State Representative Susan Lynn writes on her side of this emerging story on her blog – follow along on the comments as well.  In addition, the Nashville Post posts a note on the matter from a former TN state rep as well.  All sides need to get all of the facts, sans spin, out in the open on this issue – resolve it, and move on.  UPDATE:  Speaker Williams just had a press conference where he makes his case as strongly as possible – the transcript of which can be found on the Nashville Scene Blog.  From the Chattanooga Times Free Press:

A House Republican today filed an ethics complaint against Speaker Kent Williams, arguing he should be stripped of his speakership for allegedly “making a false statement” regarding two-year-old allegations of sexual harassment.

“Speaker Williams’ actions of sexual harassment were bad enough to begin with,” Rep. Brian Kelsey, R-Germantown, said in a news release. “Denying that the events ever occurred, in effect calling Rep. (Susan) Lynn a liar, is like spitting in the face of his victim.”

Rep. Kelsey campaigned against Rep. Williams in the 2008 elections.
