Well this is good news for a Democrat administration seeking re-election. From NJ.com:
Stepping up efforts against public corruption, gangs and organized crime, the state Attorney General’s Office logged a 47 percent increase in the filing of criminal cases last year, officials said yesterday.
The targets included everyone from mayors, school principals, municipal judges and an assemblyman to drug dealers and gang members. In total, the Division of Criminal Justice brought 966 cases by indictment or accusation in 2008 compared with 658 the previous year.
