This story is 100% out of hand. There’s so much wrong with how an affair between a teenager and an elected official, the lies, deception, and cover up is being handled. This tangled web of political an social connections is too much to bare. From the Portland Tribune:
Oregon Attorney General John Kroger promises a fair and thorough investigation of Mayor Sam Adams, despite the fact that the two have employed the same campaign consultant in the past — a consultant who also coached the teenager at the center of the Adams’ sex scandal.
The consultant, Mark Wiener, said he expects to be interviewed by the Oregon Department of Justice during its investigation into Adams’ relationship with Beau Breedlove.
