Frank Watson is all class. From sj-r.com:
The Illinois Senate’s former Republican leader, Frank Watson of Greenville, will leave the Senate on Feb. 16, capping a 30-year career in the General Assembly.
Watson, 63, is recovering from a stroke he suffered in October while campaigning for candidates in southern Illinois. Although he has made great strides in his recovery, Watson said in an interview Monday that he doesn’t want to let his constituents down.
“I can’t do things to the level I want to do,” Watson said. “My speech is not the same. My thought processes are not the same. I can tell the difference. I could not give 100 percent.”
