Look at that – Democrats have discovered transparency. This almost as good as the time the new occupant of the White House banned lobbyist from his administration…oh wait. Sorry. From the QC Times:
Leaders of both parties unveiled the Web site Monday.
“Iowans understand we are in tough economic times,” House Speaker Pat Murphy, D-Dubuque, said in announcing the site. “We want to hear what Iowans think about the state budget.”
House Republicans took a similar approach.
“It’s just another way of collecting people’s ideas,” said House Minority Leader Kraig Paulsen, R-Hiawatha.
