From the News Tribune:
Attorney General Rob McKenna is asking legislators to pass two laws that would aim to help prosecute those who prey upon children on the Internet.
His proposals would take a step toward creating a digital forensic crime lab housed at the Washington State Patrol and make it a felony to look at child pornography online.
“Our state must stay a step ahead of those who use technology to prey on victims,” McKenna said at a press conference Monday.
