From CQ Politics:
As governors in Florida and Kansas ponder their next political moves, would-be candidates in those states remain in limbo.
Republican Charlie Crist of Florida and Democrat Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas would find competition from within their parties melt away if they decide to run for the Senate in 2010.
Elsewhere, Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal , a Democrat, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty , a Republican, are keeping would-be successors waiting by failing to say whether they want to run for re-election.
