One of the Democrats mentioned as a potential candidate for Jim Bunning’s U.S. Senate seat says he’ll make a decision after this session of the General Assembly.
Attorney General Jack Conway said Tuesday he’s having fun in his present job and wants to work on some legislative priorities, such as cyber crime and funding for his office, during the legislative session which ends March 27.
“Given what I think what the fund raising needs are I think it’s apparent I’ll have to say something shortly after the session,” Conway said after being asked when he might file to run for the Democratic nomination. “I have not made a decision yet. There’s a good chance I may get in this race, but I have not made the decision yet.”.
