“We are in the midst of trying times as a nation and it is critical that we have increased cooperation between state and federal government,” said NAAG President and Rhode Island Attorney General Patrick Lynch. “As the chief legal officers of our respective jurisdictions, Attorneys General will use our time here to establish working relationships within the new administration and to exchange information and ideas to help the citizens of our states and territories.”
In the current financial crisis, credit cards will continue to pose a serious threat to consumers’ financial well being. Guest speakers during the NAAG Spring Meeting will discuss policy considerations for the marketing and servicing of credit cards and offer perspectives on credit card reform.
