From Columbus Dispatch:
Sandra O’Brien, the Republican nominee for state treasurer in 2006, is telling party activists that she intends to run for secretary of state next year.
O’Brien, 57, a former three-term Ashtabula County auditor, was defeated by 12 points in the 2006 race by Democrat Richard Cordray, who is now the Ohio attorney general. Earlier that year, she upset the incumbent treasurer, Jennette Bradley, in the GOP primary election.
