From Fredericksburg.com:
Less than 20 days into his campaign for the Virginia House of Delegates, Stafford Supervisor George Schwartz has dropped out of the race.
In a press release, Schwartz admitted that he could not run a “targeted, full-time race” while tending to county business.
“I severely underestimated the amount of work, time and effort required to gear up for this race,” Schwartz said. “As time went by, I realized my first priority needs to be my job as supervisor and leading the board. There’s a lot going on now.”
