From ConnectMidMissouri.com:
Protestor Kirk Arnold said, “If we get involved, it’s got to grow. It’s got to start here in our communities. We’ve got to make a difference and make sure Washington hears us.”
Similar tea parties have taken place at other cities across the country. Only time will tell whether the president realizes there are some Americans who think big government is not their cup of tea.
Other state officials like Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, a spokesman for Republican Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer and former Columbia State Rep. Ed Robb addressed the crowd at the protest.
